Diane is the Founder and President of Remember Rally, Inc., a non-profit organization that was started after 9/11. She had the privilege of meeting a few of the rescue workers who worked at Ground Zero. She interviewed the rescue workers and made a short documentary about the health issues from 9/11. Rescue workers, first responders, and construction workers have experienced multiple health issues and it is estimated that about 2000 first responders have died since 9/11 from their exposure to toxins & chemicals.
The mission of Remember Rally has always been to honor and respect our military and first responders. Over the years, there have been events to either raise money for first responders & military organizations, or events to pay respect. Years of research of what military personnel and first responders experience, and what may be needed to assist them, has culminated into the current project of creating a unique Veterans Memorial.
